Northern Ireland: Call for flag protest suspension
Northern Ireland's First Minister Peter Robinson has called on loyalists to suspend any flag protests in an effort to prevent further violence.
On Wednesday night a young family involved with the cross-community party Alliance were attacked in connection with the decision to stop flying the Union flag over Belfast City Hall.
