Prince Edward 'thrilled' by news of royal pregnancy

The Earl and Countess of Wessex have said they are "thrilled" at the news of Kate Middleton's pregnancy.

Speaking to reporters as they attended an event in London, Prince Edward and wife Sophie said it was "the perfect end to an amazing year".
