Downing Street Christmas tree lights get the X Factor

The Christmas lights have been switched on in Downing Street, with a festive touch from the finalists of ITV1's X Factor, who sang Silent Night.

Singer Nicole Scherzinger and the talent competition contenders James Arthur, Jahmene Douglas, and Christopher Maloney joined Prime Minister David Cameron in the countdown to the switch-on.
