Minister denies rift with flood insurers
The Environment Secretary Owen Paterson has denied claims that talks between the British Association of Insurers and the government on a future deal for insuring homes at risk of flooding have reached "crisis point."
Mr Owen Paterson told BBC Breakfast that negotiations were ongoing and that ministers were committed to securing a good deal for both householders and the taxpayer.
