Ed Miliband: 'Urgent investigation' into fostering row
Leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband has called for an "urgent investigation" into the circumstances around Rotherham Borough Council's decision to have three children removed from their foster parents because they are UKIP party members.
The local authority has said the children were "not indigenous white British" and that it had concerns about UKIP's stance on immigration.
Speaking on Saturday, Mr Miliband said, "Being a member of a political party like UKIP should not be a bar to fostering children".
