Stalking victim: 'I knew he was coming to find me'
Dr Alison Hewitt is speaking out as new stalking offences are being introduced in the UK.
A parliamentary inquiry found the previous laws on harassment and stalking were "not fit for purpose".
Dr Hewitt, from Brighton, told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire about the time when her fears climaxed over what Al Amin Dhalla, whom she had dated for six months, would do when he was released on bail.
