Released prisoner mentor plan 'great idea'


Every prisoner released in England and Wales should have their own mentor to help them get their lives back on track, says Justice Secretary Chris Grayling.

Former offender Eric Allison said the plan sounded good on paper and added that mentors would have more chance than probation officers at helping released prisoners.
