Former footballer to give evidence at attack trial
A former footballer is preparing to give evidence at the trial of six men accused of attacking him while he was on holiday in Greece.
The family of Robert Hughes say he has no recollection of the attack three years ago. The 31-year-old former Oxford United player suffered brain damage and has severe memory loss. The defendants deny causing grievous bodily harm and will stand trial in Crete next week.
Katharine DaCosta reports.
