Palace honours Battle of Kohima veterans
The Duke of York invited Kohima veterans to Buckingham Palace to hear their stories and to back efforts to help the communities in Nagaland, India, who fought alongside the men.
The Battle of Kohima took place in 1944 during World War II when a small band of British and Indian troops held a strategic position against a Japanese invading force, which was 10 times larger.
The siege claimed more than 10,000 lives.
Robert Hall reports.
