The Shard: UK's tallest viewing gallery unveiled

A viewing gallery on Europe's tallest building will be open to the public in February next year.

The Shard is the 59th tallest building in the world and stands at more than 305m (1000 ft) high, offering 360 degree panoramic views of London.

The gallery is expected to draw more than a million people each year.

Sonja Jessup was given a sneak preview of what people will be able to see.
