Female soldier killed in Afghanistan named as Channing Day
The third female soldier to die in Afganistan has been named as 25-year-old Channing Day.
The army medic was killed alongside a male colleague on Wednesday, bringing the total number of British forces killed in Afghanistan to 435.
Their families have been informed. The BBC's Caroline Wyatt reports.
