Savile: Panorama probes Newsnight's dropped investigation
The BBC's Panorama programme says it has fresh evidence of what the broadcaster knew about the decades of child abuse carried out by the TV and radio presenter Jimmy Savile.
In a special programme to be broadcast on BBC1, it also reveals details of email exchanges within the Newsnight programme team over why their investigation was dropped.
