Global food prices expected to hit UK shoppers

Global food prices are close to their highest level in history, and are expected to climb even higher after a poor harvest this year.

Drought has hit crops in the US Midwest, Europe, and central Asia.

One British charity is already anticipating a rise in demand for food parcels.
