Paralympic double gold medal winner Ellie Simmonds has been taking a tour of her hometown Walsall, on an open-topped bus.

The 17-year-old officially opened a swimming pool which has been named after her at Cooper and Jordan C of E School, where she used to be a pupil, before the bus took her to Walsall town hall.

Ben Ando reports.
