Jimmy Savile friend condemns 'one-sided reporting'
David Gloan was a friend of Sir Jimmy, who died last year. He told Radio 5 liveBreakfast that reports of Savile's sexual assaults were "one-sided".
Five women who say they were sexually assaulted by the TV personality and charity fundraiser appeared on an ITV documentary with their accounts of abuse at the hands of the eccentric star who died in 2011 aged 84.
A plaque outside Sir Jimmy Savile's former home in Scarborough has been removed after it was defaced after the allegations were made public.
