PCs Hughes and Bone among National Police Memorial Day honoured
Two police officers shot dead in Greater Manchester are among those who have been remembered at a memorial service for officers killed on duty.
Special dedications for PCs Nicola Hughes and Fiona Bone were read at the York Minster service, alongside the names of their fallen colleagues.
More than 2,000 people attended Sunday's service, including other serving officers and the relatives of those who have died.
Petals fell during the service, which was led by Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York.
