Front line soldiers on defence honours
The latest Ministry of Defence Operational Awards honour soldiers who have displayed courage on and off the battlefield.
Three soldiers spoke to the BBC about their achievements.
Sapper Ryan Pavey, from Southampton, was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Bravery. Speaking about his experiences, he said: ''It's hard, but your training takes over''
