US audiences give David Cameron thumbs up on Letterman
David Cameron has become the first serving British prime minister to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman, a popular US chat show.
In the programme aired late on the Wednesday in the US, Mr Cameron was quizzed on his knowledge of British history and culture.
Members of the audience leaving the studios said that they were impressed with his interview.
