Affair with teacher was 'devastating'

Nicky Walton had a relationship with her teacher, a man in his 30s, when she was 14. She says the emotional impact lasted for years.

Ms Walton said she thought the relationship, which lasted for more than a year, was "my happy ever after" but when she left school to be with him, "he just disappeared."

She is adamant she was not abused but says the relationship had a devastating effect on her.
