Royals to sue over Kate topless photos in French magazine
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have launched legal action against the publication of topless pictures of Catherine, Clarence House has said.
The royal couple are said to be hugely saddened over the 'grotesque and unjustifiable invasion of privacy' by the French magazine, Closer.
Closer printed the pictures of the duchess, taken during their private holiday in France.
The magazine's editor said that the couple were 'visible from the street' and the images are 'not in the least shocking'.
Nicholas Witchell reports.
