Hillsborough files to be reopened

Help

South Yorkshire Police says it will reopen its investigations into the conduct of its officers regarding the 1989 Hillsborough disaster.

The force is considering referring itself to the Independent Police Complaints Commission after it emerged that evidence was changed and mistakes were covered up.

The families of the 96 victims say the findings of the report must lead to legal action.

Vicki Young reports.
