Prince William and Kate launch Rolls-Royce engine
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited a Rolls-Royce factory during their trip to Singapore and unveiled the first plane engine to be produced there.
Prince William said the pair had a "fascinating" tour of the engine assembly building and praised the "hi-tech campus".
The Duchess of Cambridge pushed the final fan blade into the first Trent 900 Aero to be produced at the plant.
According to the British High Commission in Singapore, the visit to the city was included in their trip as it is seen as an important trading partner of the UK.
