Redhead says ginger comment is 'akin to racism'
Redhead Laura Payton was offended when a bank clerk commented that she must be pleased that her three-year-old wasn't a ginger, like her.
Laura told BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine that she was proud to have ginger hair, but felt that the comment made by the clerk was on par with a racist remark.
The Jeremy Vine Show is broadcast Monday to Friday at 12:00 BST on BBC Radio 2. Or listen again via the link.
