London 2012: Parade to celebrate Olympics and Paralympics

Help

British stars of the Olympics and Paralympics are due to celebrate their success during a victory parade through the streets of central London later.

Twenty-one floats will carry around 800 athletes through London, from Mansion House to Buckingham Palace.

The final part of the parade, through the Mall, will be a ticketed event, for athletes' friends, family and support staff, as well as many of the Games Maker volunteers.

Sally Nugent reports.
