RAF searches for missing teenager in County Durham
A search is under way for a teenage boy who is believed to have fallen into the River Wear in County Durham.
RAF Squadron Leader Kate Frayling told the BBC that they had searched an area near the river but were now on standby.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police are currently dealing with a report of a teenage male having fallen in the river at Bishop Auckland at an area known as Batts Pool."
