France shootings: Saad al-Hilli 'lived for family'

Help

A neighbour of Saad al-Hilli, who was found shot dead with members of his family in France, has recounted the last time he saw him alive.

Jack Saltman, who lived next door to the al-Hilli family in Claygate, Surrey, said Mr al-Hilli had asked him to "keep an eye" on his home before he left for the Alps.

Mr Saltman said it was impossible to believe Mr al-Hilli was anything other than a "hard-working engineer, who adored his family and lived for them".
