Paralympic torch relay launched with cauldron ceremony

The Paralympic flame has been lit at a ceremony in London's Trafalgar Square, marking the start of the Paralympic torch relay.

Claire Lomas, who was paralysed in a horse riding accident, lit the cauldron from the English national flame that was kindled on Scafell Pike.

The relay travels from Stoke Mandeville to London overnight on Tuesday for the Games opening ceremony on Wednesday.
