How to win at Scrabble


Britain's top Scrabble players will be going head-to-head on Sunday as the National Scrabble Championship Final takes place in London.

Paul Gallen, a solicitor from Belfast, will take on previous champion Wale Fashina, an accountant from Liverpool, in the best-of-five event.

Scrabble is enjoying a huge surge in popularity, with millions now playing the game online.

British grand master Brett Smitheram gives his top five tips for improving your game and maximising your score.
