US band coach crash 'not at accident hotspot'

Help

Nine people have been taken to hospital after the coach they were travelling in fell 30ft (10m) from a viaduct near Bath.

The bus was being used by the American punk band Baroness, who were travelling from Bristol to Southampton. A spokesman for the band said all the remaining tour dates had been cancelled.

Insp Steve Mildren, from Avon and Somerset Police, said that the cause of the crash was not yet clear but confirmed that it did not take place at an accident hotspot.
