Funding for Britain's Olympic sports, worth £125m a year, will continue until at least the Rio Olympic Games in 2016, the prime minister says.

Previously UK Sport had only been guaranteed money from the treasury and National Lottery until 2014, but David Cameron said the extended commitment was a reward for the success of the elite sport system.
