Boris: The 'Great Leap forward' in cycling

A marathon-style, 100-mile bike ride is to be held next year as part of the legacy of the Olympics.

It will take place in London and will be one of four cycling events next August, with the intention that it will happen annually.

It has been announced by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
