Olympic Park gardens' floral legacy


The landscaped gardens of the Olympic Park have been as integral a part of the arena as the stadium.

The ambitious project to transform polluted wasteland into flourishing flower beds, meadows and woodland is designed to last beyond the London 2012 competition.

Clive Myrie had a tour of the grounds from the head gardener Des Smith.
