Olympics minister defends sport policy after criticism
The Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport Jeremy Hunt has defended government policy after the chairman of the British Olympic Association called for reform.
Yesterday, Lord Moynihan said there needed to be greater funding of school sports and facilities so that children inspired by Team GB could become successful future Olympians.
Jeremy Hunt told BBC Breakfast that he agreed - but that the government had already taken steps to encourage the next generation of athletes.
