The Syrian conflict was on the agenda as David Cameron met Russia's President, Vladimir Putin, at Downing Street on Thursday.

It was Mr Putin's first visit to Britain in seven years, a difficult period in relations between the two countries.

Speaking after their meeting Mr Cameron said it was time to ramp up pressure on Syria.

Bridget Kendall reports.
