Boris Johnson: Ceremony left me 'crying like a baby'

Speaking on the first full day of competition, Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said he felt London had even outdone the epic Olympic Games opening ceremony put-on by Beijing four years ago.

Mr Johnson, who earlier attended the Olympic Park with The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, admitted that he had been "left crying like a baby".
