Boy boards Jet2 plane alone: 'This can never happen again'
An 11-year-old boy has boarded a plane from Manchester to Rome on Tuesday on his own, without a passport, ticket or boarding pass.
The boy evaded security in Terminal 1 to board the Jet2 flight, which was already in the air before suspicious passengers raised the alarm.
Speaking to the BBC, Jet2 Managing Director Ian Doubtfire said that the airline has already altered its security procedures and introduced a mandatory headcount on all flights following the incident.
