Games lanes: Traffic largely unaffected by operation
Traffic appears not to have been significantly affected by the activation of the Olympic Route Network and Games Lanes in London.
Transport for London say they are monitoring all the routes and lifting the restrictions in some Games Lanes when traffic is lighter.
Reporting from TfL's traffic control centre, Philippa Thomas says the feeling is that many people have listened to the warnings about heavier traffic and made alternative plans.
