Paying tradesmen in cash morally wrong, says David Gauke

The Treasury minister David Gauke has been quoted as saying that paying tradesmen in cash is morally wrong.

He told Newsnight that householders who paid tradesmen in cash to get a discount were "facilitating the hidden economy".
