Torch relay: Lennox Lewis carries Olympic flame in Bexley

Help

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis has carried the Olympic torch in Bexley, as excitement builds in the capital ahead of Friday's opening ceremony.

Lewis was born in Stratford, east London. He won Olympic gold for Canada - where he lived as a teenager - in Seoul in 1988.

Speaking to the BBC's Robert Hall, Lewis said he felt he was "almost floating" as he carried the flame.
