Clare's Law will help future victims of domestic abuse
A pilot scheme that will allow people to find out if their partner has a history of domestic violence has been launched in Wiltshire and Gwent.
It is called Clare's Law after Clare Wood who was murdered by an ex-boyfriend in 2009.
If it is succssful it will be rolled out across the rest of England and Wales.
Penny Beale's daughter, also called Penny, was murdered by her boyfriend in 2009. She told BBC Radio 5 liveBreakfast why the law is a good idea.
