'Lethal force' protects Olympics

The RAF will shoot down a plane as a "last resort" if the Olympics are threatened by an aircraft, the Games air security commander says.

A series of airspace restrictions around London and south-east England are set to be enforced from midnight.

Typhoon jets and Sea King helicopters are being deployed to RAF Northolt.
