EastEnders star visits scheme aiming to close the age gap
While exploring society's attitude to the elderly, actress June Brown, who plays Dot Cotton in EastEnders, discovers a new initiative that aims to bring the young and old together more.
Aggie's Grannies takes very young children to care homes to play with the older residents, encouraging children to develop a closer bond with the older generation.
Find out more in June Brown: Respect Your Elders on Thursday 12 July at 22:35 BST. The programme forms part of the BBC's When I'm 65 season.
