Clacton PC shooting: Peter Reeve's body found by church
A man suspected of murdering a police officer has been found dead in a churchyard in Essex.
The body of Peter Reeve, 64, was discovered in Writtle, near Chelmsford, after a member of the public contacted police.
It is thought PC Ian Dibell was shot when he tried to intervene in a dispute; his relatives say they will take some comfort from his bravery.
