Olympic torch relay: Security team tell their stories

Help

If you've watched any of the coverage of the Olympic torch relay, you will have noticed the team of security personnel wearing grey tracksuits, running alongside the participants.

They are all members of the Metropolitan Police Torch Security Team, tasked with protecting the Games flame - and the runners - for the duration of the relay.

But as four members of the team tell BBC News, their role has also enabled them to get to know the runners and hear their stories.

Watch live text and continuous video of the torch relay.
