A 20-year-old man from Burnley has been charged with six terrorism offences, Lancashire Police have said.
Niall Florence, St Cuthbert Street, was arrested at home on 9 December last year during a pre-planned operation.
He was charged with five offences under Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and one offence under Section Two of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Mr Florence has been bailed to attend Westminster Magistrates' Court at 13:30 BST on 20 July.
