Olympic torch: War hero carries flame at national memorial


The Olympic flame has visited the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on day 43 of the torch relay.

War hero Corporal Johnson Beharry carried the torch at the UK's centre of remembrance.

The 1st Battalion, Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment soldier - one of only six living recipients of the Victoria Cross, the highest decoration for valour - suffered serious head injuries during an ambush in 2004 in Iraq.
