The differences in Olympic cycling from 1948 to 2012

When the last Olympic games were held in London in 1948, competitors experienced an event very different from that planned for 2012.

Rationing after the end of WWII was still in force and athletes could only train in their spare time.

One British success in 1948 was factory worker Tommy Godwin, who won two medals in the cycling.

The BBC's Robert Hall met the former Olympian to reflect on how cycling has changed for his modern counterparts.
