Prisoner climbed Pentonville jail wall to escape

Help

A convicted murderer is on the run after escaping over a wall at Pentonville prison in north London.

John Massey was jailed in 1975 for the murder of a man in east London, and is one of the UK's longest serving prisoners.

The Ministry of Justice has launched an investigation after Massey used a make-shift rope to escape.

Tom Symonds reports.
