A young child has been killed and another person seriously injured after a huge explosion ripped through terraced houses in Oldham.
The fire service has said the blast, in the Shaw area of the city, may have been caused by a gas leak.
One man was pulled from the rubble and airlifted to Wythenshawe Hospital with serious burns.
