Escaped eagle gives dog walkers a fright
Sisters Lindsey and Lorna Hutchinson got quite a shock during a dog walk near their home in Gateshead.
Towering over them was a giant Russian Steller's Sea Eagle.
It has a wingspan of over 8ft and is capable of taking cats and dogs for its prey at whim.
Jim Knight reports.
